Minwax Fast Drying Polyurethane Spray, Protective Wood Finish

The fast-drying formula of this Minwax polyurethane spray allows for quick recoats in just 4-6 hours, enabling you to complete your projects in a timely manner. To achieve the best results, follow these application directions:

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any old finishes, paint, wax, grease, polish, dirt, or other contaminants.
2. Sand the surface to obtain a smooth, uniform appearance, and remove all dust.
3. If desired, apply a Minwax stain to unfinished wood surfaces, following the instructions for application and drying times.
4. Shake the Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane can vigorously for two minutes, and then shake it occasionally for 10 seconds during use.
5. Protect adjacent areas from overspray, as wet overspray can be removed with mineral spirits.
6. Hold the can vertically, approximately 12 inches from the surface, and fully depress the button to spray using an even, sweeping motion with slightly overlapping strokes. On unfinished wood, apply sufficient material to seal open joints, edges, and end-grain.
7. Apply a thin coat to avoid runs and sags, and recoat within 2 hours. If unable to do so, wait a minimum of 72 hours, lightly sand, and then recoat.
8. Apply at least three coats on unfinished wood and two coats on surfaces that are already finished.
9. After the final coat, allow 24 hours before normal use.
